All three seed varieties are F1 Hybrids.

Planting Info

  • Days to maturity: 64- 72

  • In early Spring, start seeds indoors in early April, 4-6 weeks before transplanting outdoors.  Plant 12-18" apart in rows 18-36" apart. Cabbage is a cool season crop and thrives when temperatures are between 55-75°F.

  • For a fall harvest, start seedlings indoors in late May and transplant to the garden in June/July.

  • Direct Seeding: Sow 3-4 seeds 12" apart, 1/2" deep, rows 24-36" apart, thinning to one plant in each group.

  • Harvest and Storage: Heads can be cut at the base of the plants or twisted to break from stem. Remove damaged or disease outer leaves for better storage. Relatively young heads (still green and actively growing) store best. Ideal conditions are 32°F, at 95-98% relative humidity, with good air circulation. Store only disease-free heads.
